Peace of God

What a world that we live in. We feel like we are being run down by so many activities. We measure our worth by accomplishment that we achieve. We are being pressured to be successful so that people will look up to us. We are being pulled left and right by people that need us and on top of all of that, we overwork ourselves and push ourselves beyond our limit to fulfill our own needs.

What a stressful life. We spend our fortune to go on vacation for temporary break. We buys a lot of things and build stuffs to make us feel peaceful; we are following others doing things that according to them is a way to escape from our lives. It is all just temporary solution. After that said and done, we are right back in it again, leading another stressful life.

There is only one way we can lead a peaceful life. That is by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said to not let our heart be troubled and never be afraid because He gave us His peace and it is not the same as what the world gives. It is peace that surpasses all understanding. It is peace that will guard our hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.

We can only own this peace through Him; which means accepting Him, let Him lives inside our heart and listen to His guidance. We will not be afraid when we are facing trials and challenges, but instead we will feel calm because we have God inside of us. He will keep us calm and at peace even though we are surrounded by mountains of fire. It is the faith inside of us that is so sure that God is with us, and if God is for us then who can be against us? The creator of the universe, with unlimited power beyond what we ever could think of is standing side by side with us and protecting us and gives us strength and whatever we need. Why shouldn’t we feel peace?

John 14:27
Philippians 4:7

Daily prayer
Lord Jesus, I receive peace that You gave with faith. A peace that surpasses all understanding and I believe it will guard my heart and my mind through You. Thank You Jesus for this gift. In the Name of Jesus I pray.
